A capture is any note you save — a typed thought, a voice memo, a scanned document, or a message from Telegram. Editing an existing capture doesn’t count as a new one. If you send a 30-second voice memo and a scan of a document in the same minute, that’s two captures.

Your captures still save — Nura never silently loses your thinking. But AI processing (auto-organisation, task extraction, enhancement) pauses until the next month or until you upgrade to Pro. Ask Nura queries pause similarly at 200/month on the main tier.

Yes, instantly. Upgrade and the new plan is active immediately. Downgrade and it takes effect at your next billing date. No fees either direction.

Honestly: cost. Long voice memos are expensive to transcribe and process. Capping at 10 minutes keeps the £20/month tier sustainable. Most people find this is enough for typical voice notes; the Pro tier removes the cap for people who record longer.

Nothing for the first 30 days — your account stays active in read-only mode. After 30 days, your data is deleted permanently. You can export everything as Markdown before then. We never silently keep your data after cancellation.

Within 14 days of your first paid charge, yes — full refund, no questions. After that, we don’t pro-rate refunds, but you can cancel any time and you won’t be charged again.

UK and EU data centres via Supabase. We never transfer your content outside the UK/EU. Voice memos are transcribed on your device (free, private) before being optionally synced. Your captures are encrypted in transit and isolated per user.

No. Your content is never used to train Anthropic’s models, our own models, or anyone else’s. The AI processes your captures to organise them — that’s it. Our agreement with Anthropic explicitly forbids training on customer data.

The first 1,000 people to subscribe to Nura get £15/month for life. Once you sign up at that price, you stay at £15/month indefinitely — even when prices change for new users. The discount applies as long as your subscription stays active.

About 80% of people will use Nura comfortably within the main tier’s limits. The other 20% — people capturing dozens of times a day, recording long voice memos, asking Nura many times — get a tier that makes their usage sustainable for them and for us.
