Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding End-User Licence Agreement ("EULA") between you and LMFI ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of the Nura application ("Nura" or "the app"). By downloading, installing, or using Nura, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Use of the Service

Nura is an AI-powered meeting notes application available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You may use Nura for personal and professional note-taking, meeting recording, task management, and related productivity purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nura. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account & Authentication

Nura uses Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple for authentication. By signing in, you agree to the respective provider's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Nura offers a free tier with limited monthly AI usage and an optional paid subscription ("Nura Pro") that unlocks unlimited AI features.

• Pricing & billing: Nura Pro is offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The current price is displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region. All prices include applicable taxes where required by Apple.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• Managing & cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to Nura Pro features until then.
• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds: All subscription payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We are unable to issue refunds directly.
• Price changes: We may change subscription pricing from time to time. Any price change will take effect on the next billing cycle after notice is provided. You will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Nura, including meeting notes, transcripts, tasks, and notebooks. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

By using Nura, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and sync your content solely to provide the app's functionality. This includes:

• Storing your notes in Firebase Firestore for cloud sync
• Sending note content to Anthropic's Claude API for AI processing
• Accessing your calendar data (with your permission) to display upcoming events

5. Recording & Consent

Nura allows you to record audio during meetings. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding recording conversations. Many jurisdictions require consent from all parties before recording. It is your responsibility to obtain any required consent before using Nura's recording features. We are not liable for any failure to obtain proper consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Nura to record conversations without the required consent of participants
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or servers
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the app to generate, store, or distribute harmful, abusive, or unlawful content

7. Third-Party Services

Nura integrates with third-party services including Google (Sign-In, Calendar, Firebase), Apple (Sign in with Apple, EventKit, Speech framework), and Anthropic (Claude AI). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or data practices of third-party services.

8. AI-Generated Content

Nura uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, action items, and other content from your notes and recordings. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it for any purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

The Nura app, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by LMFI and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Nura is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall LMFI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, missed meetings, or inaccurate AI output, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars (US$50), whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LMFI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including recording consent laws.

13. Account Deletion & Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings > Delete Account). Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our servers. Data stored locally on your device will remain until you uninstall the app.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with reasonable notice where practicable.

14. Availability & Changes

We strive to keep Nura available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LMFI regarding your use of Nura and supersede any prior agreements.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Nura after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the app.
